Cousins

Here's Isaac with his 2 newest cousins (Courtney, 4 months; Isaac, 2 months; and Eli, 3 weeks). He doesn't look so huge next to them!

Isaac's Blessing

We flew to Salt Lake City to bless Isaac this past Sunday. It was so great to see so much family, especially since it will be a while until we're back.

Four generations of Lindbergs: Randy, Lance, Elva, and Isaac!

It's All Relative

Isaac looks like a tank next to T.J. and Jill's new babies, Ty and Lizzie, yet he's only 8 weeks old and maybe 10 lbs. Isaac is exactly 5 weeks older, but is bigger than the two of them put together! (Ty is still in the 4 lb range and Lizzie has reached 5 lbs) T.J. has his bets on Ty to win the hill climb...

Teddy/Tub Time

Thanks to Isaac's little bear bunting, we have been able to enjoy winter walks in Denver...I appreciate being able to get out of the house most days and he looks so cute in his little teddy outfit! Isaac rarely falls asleep in his car seat (like most babies apparently do; he tends to get some good screams in instead), but he almost always falls asleep in his stroller, thank goodness!!

Isaac has grown to love his bath time. He is getty so chubby...he already has a double chin and 'baby biceps.' He usually cries when we have to take him out.

Nashville??

So we just found out this morning that we're moving to Nashville this summer for Lance's transplant residency!  I cannot tell you how shocked we both were.  We were almost positive that we were going back to Utah for a year.  Lance felt pretty good about his interviews there, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.  As this match day approached I got the feeling that it would be okay to move somewhere other than back home.  After all, we have had a positive experience here in Denver...we'll just have even more experiences to grow I guess.  We are very sad to be away from family for another year, and I am sad to leave all of the awesome friends I've made here in Denver, but everything happens for a reason!  I'm not sure when it will really sink in...

He's a Keeper

I couldn't resist buying this onesie based on the many hours my dad spent fishing with me...isn't he a cutie?

My girlfriend got this posh velour jogging suit for Isaac...he looks so stylin'

Out For a Walk

I swear this kiddo is always pulling a funny face when I try to snap a photo! Anyhow, we have to say we have REALLY enjoyed the stroller my sister-in-law, Becky, is lending us. His first ride was at 10 days old (we walked to his doctor's appointment), and we've gone on walks most days since. Thanks Becky!

One Month Photos

My friend had a great idea to take pictures every month with a stuffed animal so you can tell how much Isaac changes. These are his one month photos.

Happy 30th, Boys (a birthday re-do)

So it was Lance's 30th birthday yesterday (yes, he's in his 30's now!). Isaac also happens to be about 30 days old. We had to do a birthday re-do, because Lance's actual birthday turned out to be a total bust. It started with Lance being sweet and offering to change Isaac's diaper in the morning, but Isaac ended up pooping mid-diaper change. Then, as Lance was going to get yet another clean diaper, the stream of urine started. I have yet to be both pooped and peed on in one diaper change...how unlucky! To top things off, Lance got a horrible migraine at work and luckily made it home in time to puke. He could barely handle a bowl of cereal for dinner, so we passed on his special dinner and birthday cake. We went to bed with Isaac around 9 pm because we were both exhausted.
Today, however, went much better. Isaac was a total angel. I was able to make Belgian waffles with buttermilk syrup for breakfast. Lance had a great day at work and didn't even have a 'hangover' from his migraine like usual, and we enjoyed salmon and king crab legs for dinner and a delicious Italian cream cake with coconut cream cheese frosting. I was hoping this was how Lance's actual birthDAY would go, but I'll take a successful re-do!

Will it Fit??

Lance's sister, Lisa, found Lance's blessing outfit, and we were hoping to bless Isaac in the same outfit. The only problem is that we aren't blessing Isaac for a full month. He gained 2 full lbs in the past 3 weeks, so I had to try it on today to see how it fit. I'm not sure if it will still fit in a month!! He looks so cute in it! I forgot to try on the little booties my aunt Arlene made! At least those will be sure to fit.

Escape Artist

No matter how well we wrap Isaac up in a blanket, he always manages to get something loose. Usually it is his hands, but this time he found another exit route.
