Utah Trip -May 2012

Isaac loves to help his newest cousin, baby June.  She came all the way from Switzerland to say hello.

It was fun to see Allison and her family.  It had been almost a year since we had seen them.  They will be moving from Switzerland to New York City this Fall.

Isaac was in love with this car at Greg's house.  He just couldn't quite figure out the pedals.

Russ's bounce house is always a favorite with the cousins.

Isaac and Courtney made quite a mess with their ice cream cones, but were happy as clams!

We made it over to Great-Grandpa Caylor's house while we were in town (Lance''s mother's father).  He and Leone are so sweet to little Isaac.  They have a special place in their heart for him!

I LOVE this little guy!

Look at those locks...our own California beach boy enjoying a true 'sand'wich

Gotta love that strawberry milk (he still doesn't drink much milk, even if we flavor it!)  He got a hold of the spoon and it still had a little powder on it I guess.

Disneyland

We did it...we brought Isaac to Disneyland for the first time.  We were able to meet up with Scott, Susan, Bryce, and Cooper (Lindberg) and make a fun day of it.  I will say, there is a reason kids are free under the age of 3, but it was a fun day anyhow.

Isaac thought "It's a Small World" was pretty magical.  He loved seeing the little dolls singing.

So this is the only photo I have with the kids together...is everybody having fun or what??

This is BEFORE Isaac dropped the little leaf they give you (that you are supposed to return before the ride starts...Mommy wasn't watching) into the water.  They had to briefly stop the ride afterwards to fish it out of the water.  OOPS!

Isaac was so excited to drive a car.  He always asks if he can drive our car.  We always tell him he has to wait until he is 16, but it is probably confusing because I've only taught him numbers up to 15.  Maybe he thinks that means NEVER.  The attendant was pretty nice and let Isaac ride twice in a row because he was about to have a fit about getting out of the car.

I think ToonTown was Isaac's favorite.  Probably because we just let him run around and only made him stand in one line.  He spent most of his time splashing in the water fountains.  He did ride the roller coaster in ToonTown (he was barely tall enough) and we were surprised that he wasn't bawling by the end of it.  He actually like it and wanted to go again!

He couldn't wait for it to be his turn to see Mickey, but of course when it came right down to it, I had to hold him.  I guess it would be kind of intimidating to see a mouse twice your size!

Somehow we managed to make it until the firework show at night.  Isaac was pretty good all day for a 2 year old.  He managed to fall asleep about 15 seconds after the firework show started, but he still talks about the fireworks at the castle.  I think we decided we'd be ready to do it all again in another 3 years (IF we're still here in California).  It was almost comical seeing all of the crying children as the day wore on...the happiest place on earth ;)

Bowling with Daddy

Isaac tried bowling for the first time for Lance's birthday in March.  He thought it was the greatest for the first 2 frames, then just wanted to run around the bowling alley.  I'm pretty sure he wasn't disturbing anyone (it looks pretty packed, huh?)
