Cute and Cuddly

Lance's aunt Diane sent Isaac the cutest little outfit from Pennsylvania. He was so irresistably cute and cuddly that neither of us could set him down all day!

So this is what we call fun now...

So Lance and I actually went on a date this weekend. We took the little guy to Cafe Rio where we enjoyed free dinner (thanks for the beta, Allison). Next we went to target and got a 1000 piece puzzle. Isaac did pretty well all night.


We also splurged and got a new Dyson vacuum. For some reason we have always wanted one and Target had them on sale, plus I was able to use my employee discount so I couldn't resist. Lance has already tried it out; hopefully it will make me enjoy cleaning more??

Due Date/Bath Time

Isaac had another sponge bath today. He really hates them...or at least hates being naked. If you can believe it, today is his due date. Instead I have a 16-day old baby, have changed over 100 diapers, have been peed on I don't know how many times and have even been pooped on once. Now I'm getting spit up on multiple times a day. It's still better than the alternative of still being pregnant right now. We're happy we got him when we did because he has brought us so much joy (not just messes)!

Ready For Church

Isaac and I had our first solo outing on Sunday because Lance had to work. Somehow we managed to make it to church after getting very little sleep the night before and it happened to have snowed a fair amount the night before so I had to clean off the car, etc. He looks as tired as I felt.

So Isaac, Grandma, and Mommy have had a nice time just hanging out for the last few days. Unfortunately, Daddy had to go to Chicago and Nashville since leaving the hospital and is off to work today. I was lucky to catch Isaac awake for a change, so I thought I'd snap a few photos.

Isaac Randall Lindberg

Isaac Randall Lindberg decided he couldn't wait any long and came 16 days early and was born Monday Feb 1st, 2010. He weighed in at 6 lbs 11.5 oz and was 20 inches long.


Both baby and mom are doing well after about 9 hours of labor. How come they think they need to come in the middle of the night?

To our surprise he has a pretty good little head of hair. It looks almost strawberry blonde.
